Webster Audiology, PLLC

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 13, 2026

Webster Audiology, PLLC (“Webster Audiology,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at websteraudiology.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. Please read it alongside our Terms of Use.

This policy applies to information collected through the Site. It does not govern protected health information that we collect and maintain as part of providing care. That information is protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable Texas law, and it is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which we provide to patients and make available at our office.

Information we collect

Information you provide to us. When you use the contact form or otherwise reach out through the Site, we collect the information you choose to give us. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. If you sign up for updates through the email field in our footer, we collect the email address you provide.

Please do not include detailed medical history, diagnoses, or other sensitive health details in the contact form. The form is a general way to reach the practice and to request an appointment. It is not a secure channel for clinical information, and it is not for medical emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by our hosting and security providers. This may include your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This information helps us operate the Site, keep it secure, and understand general usage.

Cookies and similar technologies. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function and to protect against spam and abuse. These are provided by our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare, including its Turnstile service). We do not use analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies on the Site. The Google Maps on our contact page may set cookies from Google when it loads, as described below. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do.

Embedded third-party content. Our contact page displays a map provided by Google Maps. When your browser loads that map, Google receives your IP address and basic technical information, and Google may set its own cookies in your browser. We use the map only to show you where our office is, and we do not receive information about you from it.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your questions and requests
  • schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments
  • send you a confirmation when you contact us
  • send occasional practice updates if you have asked to receive them
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • protect against spam, fraud, and misuse
  • comply with our legal and professional obligations

If you have signed up for updates, you can ask us to stop sending them at any time by contacting us using the details below.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Site and communicate with you. These include our website hosting and security provider (Cloudflare), our email delivery provider (Resend), and Microsoft — we record the inquiries and newsletter sign-ups submitted through the Site to a Microsoft 365 workspace (using Microsoft Power Automate and SharePoint) so that we can respond to them and keep our records. These providers process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only to provide services to us.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of the practice, our patients, or others, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the practice.

How long we keep information

We keep the information you submit through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, to maintain our business records, and to meet our legal and professional obligations. When we no longer need it, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information collected through the Site. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to other websites

The Site may link to other websites and resources that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided us information through the Site, please contact us and we will delete it.

Texas residents

Webster Audiology is a healthcare provider subject to HIPAA. Health information we collect and maintain as part of your care is governed by HIPAA and Texas medical privacy law rather than by general consumer privacy laws, and it is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices. If you have questions about the information we hold about you, please contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the Site after we post changes means you accept the updated policy.
